As you probably know, Mercury is the messenger of the Gods and protector of travellers. In fact wechose the name for this reason. Here you will enjoy a home from home atmosphere, with very comfortable rooms. You will be treated as part of the family and we will always be happy to help you with anything you need. If you would like to try our homemade cuisine, we will be happy for you to you taste our typical dishes and genuine products which come from our fertile land.

The bed and breakfast is situated in Valderice, a town in the valley of Erice Mount, which extends for 52 square km down to the turquoise waters of the Tyrrhenian sea. During the year, the town offers many cultural, artistic and sporting events including:

• “Estate Valdericina”, held in the characteristic amphitheatre “San Barnaba”. Various music concerts are also held in characteristic “Bagli” (farmhouses) and in wonderful villas in the surrounding area.
• The Carnevale float procession
• Hill climbe race of Monte Erice
• Religious events at Christmas and Easter
• Mattanza (traditional red tuna fishing) in the port of Bonagia.

Valderice is an ideal place in which to relax and enjoy the Sicilian sun. Thanks to its warm temperature, it is always pleasant to walk around the centre, or to sit in the main square (Piazza Cristo Re)from where you can admire the unforgettably beautiful views of Erice and the bay of Cornino.
